In a charming, witty and deeply relatable version from acclaimed filmmaker Georgia Oakley, the women of the Dashwood family are transplanted from their grand home to a modest country cottage after their inheritance is lost. The family's two daughters – the cautious, conscientious Elinor (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and the fiery, headstrong Marianne (Esmé Creed-Miles) – each try to find their place in the world, as the attention of various suitors comes their way.
