Fitzwilliam Museum visit - An Enamel Revolution | China and the World
Details
Join Sue at this temporary display (free to enter) celebrating enamel decoration in China from the 1600s.
From bowls and bottles to teapots and tableware, take a closer look at intricately detailed, technically innovative and visually striking enamelled art objects and find out how this skilled artform was elevated to new heights.
I'm planning to stay on for a tea/coffee in the museum cafe afterwards if anyone would like to join me.
Venue: Fitzwilliam Museum, Trumpington St, Cambridge CB2 1RB
Meeting point: Outside the large main doors of the Fitzwilliam at 12noon.
