Board Games at Thrive - Special Halloween session of Blood on the Clocktower

Details

For those who haven't played before, Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game where the good townsfolk are trying to work out who the evil characters are over a course of days. Every character has a special power, and players who die are still allowed to talk, vote once, and can win with the rest of their team. More info here:

https://bloodontheclocktower.com/

It is a bit like Werewolf but more complicated and longer. New players are welcome to try the game, as long as you're prepared to stick with it for the full game. Other players will be happy to give advice, but be aware that people might lie to you and this is part of the game. It's meant to be chaotic and fun.

We will be playing a beginner-friendly version of the game. Please come at 1pm and chat for a bit, maybe have lunch if you like, this is a chance to learn the rules and tips as well. We'll start the first game around 2pm, and fit two games in before finishing by 6pm.

Because it's Halloween, fancy dress is highly encouraged!

We need at least 11 players to RSVP for this, so that we can still run the game if a couple of people drop out (which is unfortunately quite common). If there aren't enough people interested then we'll cancel it and try another time.

Accessibility info - Unfortunately Thrive has the toilet upstairs and the tables upstairs so it is not a wheelchair accessible event, sorry.
