Inventing the Renaissance | Cambridge to Waterbeach | £5
Details
Welcome to Cambridge Walk & Read.
In advance of this session, we will be reading the book Inventing the Renaissance: The Myth of a Golden Age by Ada Palmer. See here for the goodreads link.
We will be walking from Cambridge North station to Waterbeach and back. We will be meeting at 10.00am outside the entrance of Cambridge North station.
Pack and bring lunch with you. If there is space in the pub, we will be stopping at the Bridge in Waterbeach for refreshments.
The cost of the event will be £5. I will add attendees to our whatsapp group after the event and take the payment online.
If you didn't have time to finish the book, feel free to still come along. We'll be closing the RSVP a week before the event, so attendees have a chance to read the book.
Other materials:
Ada Palmer did an interview on the Dwarkesh podcast, which is where I found out about the book. If you want to listen to this, the link is here.
