SATURDAY, 3 MAY EVENT 🐶
No dog needed as always - just a love of dogs!
Hello everyone and every furry friend!! 🐶🐾🐕🙂.
Let's do something different and get the train with our four legged friends to Ely! For those who don't know Ely is a beautiful and very small City and only a 14 minute train journey from Cambridge 😀👌
We will wander around the Cathedral, walk around the site of an ancient castle, and explore the meadows along the river. By then we will be ready for the pub or a snack on the riverside.
Total walking will be about 1 to 1.5hrs and about 0.25 hrs on the way back to Ely Station
MEETING TIME
Trains don't wait so we will meet at 9:40 with our tickets already bought and ready for the 10AM train! 🙂
MEETING POINT
We will meet directly outside the front of Cambridge Main Station.
TRAIN TICKETS
You will need a day return train ticket which is usually between £3 and £5. Dogs are allowed on the train. Dogs are free!
PHOTOS
Organisers and attendees usually post photos after our events to record the fun and memories 🙂🐕🐾. These are also used on our Instagram account. By attending you are deemed to consent to this. If you prefer any individual photos to be removed though please contact the organiser who would be very happy to do this.
DOG BEHAVIOUR - as long as your dog is safe with people it is fine if it is young, spirited, or if you are still in training. These events are brilliant for doggy socialisation and getting to know other dogs and dog owners 🙂.
One thing we can't accept is dogs that are prone to causing aggressive spats with other dogs. Regretfully we can't accept dogs with this issue until it is rectified.
Owners are directly and solely responsible for their dog/s at all times.
TREATS - before offering treats to a dog best to double check with the owner first.
