What we’re about
Camden Running Club is the local running crew in Northwest Minneapolis, with regular runners from Camden, Victory, Shingle Creek, Cleveland, Folwell, and Robbinsdale. We meet Monday's at 6 p.m.
But it doesn't matter where you're from, all locales are welcome! In the summer we draw a dozen to two dozen runners. In the winter it ranges from a about one to ten participants (depending on weather, lol).
In summer we start and finish at the Victory Memorial Flagpole, and in winter it's the southwest corner of Victory Memorial Parkway and Lake Drive (they don't plow the flagpole in Winter).
We also welcome all paces and abilities. Our routes are typically 4 miles, with longer or shorter options available. In the summer we have runners with paces between 8- and 12-minute miles, sometimes joined by bikers, rollerbladers, and walkers too. In the winter the paces usually pick up between 8- and 10-minutes. We also have a few four-legged runners that join regularly.
