Welcome to CCR Meetup!
We are happy you have joined our MeetUp Group to enjoy the many activities and educational opportunities we offer. CCR Meetup is sponsored by the Camera Club of Richmond (Virginia).
The Camera Club of Richmond was founded in 1932 to promote the art of photography in central Virginia. Our vision is to promote excellence in photography; inspiring our members to reveal the world around us, preserve memories and create works of art. The Camera Club of Richmond’s mission is to empower our members to learn and grow their photographic craft through education, activities, exhibits, critiques, mentoring, and competitions.
Our membership has a wide range of experience and skill levels in film, digital, mirrorless, and cell phone cameras. In addition, members have the opportunity to display their work in various galleries throughout the Richmond area, have their work evaluated several times a year at our scheduled Evaluation Meetings, and participate in an End of Year Competition and Awards Presentation.
CCR welcomes photographers of all experience levels to share their passion for photography. Please be our guest at one of our monthly meetings:
2nd Tuesday of each month (January – November)

Networking (Fellowship Hall & Zoom)
7:00 PM – General Meeting & Program (Fellowship Hall & Zoom)
We are meeting in person at:

as well as live-streaming via Zoom. The Zoom links will be shared in the MeetUp Events or you may contact CameraClubofRichmond@gmail.com for login information.
You may attend 2 CCR Monthly Meetings as our guest. In fairness to our Members, on your 3rd visit, you will be asked to join CCR and pay the annual Membership Dues of $40.

About Our Evaluator…
Gian Lorenzo Ferretti is an architectural photographer at CoStar Group, where he has recently taken on a new role in research and development, focusing on emerging technologies like drones and 3D reconstruction.
Originally from Italy, Gian moved to the United States in 2014 after earning an athletic scholarship from the University of Minnesota, where he competed as a hammer thrower on the track and field team.
Outside of his professional work, Gian is a dedicated astrophotographer. He began his journey into the night sky four years ago and has since built an impressive portfolio of deep-sky imagery. His passion has led him to operate a remote telescope based in Texas, which he uses nearly every day, while also traveling with a portable setup to capture the stars from some of the world’s most remote and beautiful locations.
