2nd Annual PrintPalooza & Networking Time

What in the world is a "PrintPalooza?"

Our 2nd Annual “PrintPalooza” will be a casual gathering around the light box where our good friend, David Everette, will offer advice and critique of your print(s). CCR Members may bring up to four prints. They may be framed, but keep in mind that glass will affect its appearance under the light. David will provide feedback for as many as time allows. Participation in this event does not limit, nor include these prints in the monthly **Image Evaluation **or our upcoming End-of-Year Competition (EOY).

To have a print included in your ten “Evaluated” EOY entries, it needs to be submitted and evaluated during one of the five Image Evaluation meetings held during the year. Otherwise, you would need to enter the print as a Wildcard entry in EOY. Remember that any digital image you entered into a monthly Evaluation may be converted to a PRINT for the EOY Competition.

Feel free to bring up to FOUR prints for David to critique between 6 and 7 p.m. The prints can be images that you have previously submitted digitally to an Image Evaluation or just other prints on which you’d like suggestions and feedback. We emphasize CRITIQUE - this is not an additional Evaluation – he will simply be giving you feedback on your print and how you might improve it.

It is allowable to have both the casual critique and regular Image Evaluation of the same print at our September meeting, but you still need to submit the digital image to the Digital Director as usual. Remember that deadline: midnight on the Saturday preceding the meeting (September 6th).
