Multiple Exposures with Laura Twining (VIRTUAL ONLY!)
Details
We are excited to welcome Laura Twining back as our speaker in December. You may remember she introduced us to Intentional Camera Movement back in March. She returns to talk about Multiple Exposures.
Here is the definition she shared:
Multiple Exposure is combining more than one image together to create a single image with superimposed results. This can be achieved in many ways: in camera, in Photoshop, and in Apps such as AvgCamPro and SnapSeed. We will be exploring these methods together and I can’t wait!
The greatest challenge of shooting Multiple Exposure images in camera is setting up your camera. She will send her slides and specific resources for various cameras before the meeting. If you are a CCR member, look for it in your email on Friday, December 5th. Be sure to review Laura’s slides and instructions - and have your camera handy!
Agenda for Tuesday, December 9, 2025
6:30 - Zoom Opens for Networking
7:00 - CCR Announcements

About Our Presenter…
I am a retired educator who loves exploring the outdoors with my Nikon. Got my first digital camera when I started teaching, which was a mid-life career change. So, unlike many photographers of my age, I learned through digital photography and not film.
My passion is really abstract photography. I have been exploring the world of "Intentional Camera Movement" (ICM) which is creating images while moving your camera on purpose! Various movements create different results and allow me to "paint" with my lens. In addition to ICM, I have also started combining images in-camera through Multiple Exposures. Equally exciting is creating Multiple Exposures out of camera. There are so many options to play with and create. It is so much fun to explore this world!
I'm fortunate to live 5 minutes from The American River with amazing trails and nature all around. Every morning, I am there with my camera and my two dogs. There is something spectacular about visiting the same scene so frequently and celebrating the small changes as well as the larger ones.
I love sharing the magic of teaching and offering classes through our local store, Action Camera in Rocklin. I’m also thrilled to teach in person or on-line.
