(Testing) CameraSpotter

On April 23, we invite you to join us in mapping cameras in Rotterdam North. These mapping activities not only help us to identify CCTV cameras but also invite participants to reflect on the mapping app we developed for creating a public camera register for Rotterdam. We see camera mapping as a way to spark conversation, reflection, and contestation around surveillance in public space, rather than simply counting devices.

During the meetup, we will also introduce several connected side projects that are woven into our work across Rotterdam. This event is for anyone interested in exploring questions, concerns, and lived experiences related to surveillance technologies in the city.

You do not need to have attended any previous events, no prior knowledge is required, only curiosity. Hope to see you on April 23!
