What we’re about
This group is comprised of those who have--or may have in the future--a pilgrimage experience on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. Everyone in the group has hiked or biked the Camino...or gone by horse--in Europe/Spain or is planning to go. The group picks out movies to see in the local community that are inspiring or that lend themselves to meaning making or reflective discussion. We are now watching movies and then discussing them over Zoom at time of COVID-19 risk. (Before we went to Zoom to meet virtually, the group typically grabs a bite or a snack after the movie close to the movie theatre to discuss the movie and also to continue to relate one's Camino experience to others or to the movie. The group meets about once per month at the movie hall and will also post some special events over the year like special movies at film festivals that may be of interest to the group.) Everyone in this group may contribute movie ideas and may help--if interested--in facilitating discussion or organizing movies. An annual, but voluntarily contribution, of $5.00-$15.00 is appreciated in maintaining the Meetup.
