Campfire Tales is a different kind of community. We’ve made some incredible connections in Portland, and now we’re coming to the ’Couve!
We host everyone from vetted storytellers delivering masterclass stories to trembling first-timers sharing for the very first time. At our campfire, there is no “right” way to tell a story. Notes are allowed, nerves are welcome, and the stage lights up with incredible stories every single time.
### How it works:
- The Stories: Personal, “mostly true,” and 5–7 minutes long.
- The Tellers: A wide range of personal storytellers from both sides of the river.
- The Hot Seat: Want to tell your own story? Audience members can drop their names in the hat for a spontaneous storytelling slot. Completely optional!
- The Conversation: We provide materials for the audience to write notes to the storytellers. We want every person who braves the mic to leave feeling seen and encouraged.
