On the route, we'll be passing a lot of the outdoor artwork of the Folkestone Triennial 2025, see https://www.creativefolkestone.org.uk/folkestone-triennial/ Look out for the little red arrows, not all the artwork is obvious!
1200 Meet at Canterbury Bus Station to take the 16 bus, platform D1, at 1210
1257 Arrive Folkestone, Middelburg Square, Stop F4
1308 Catch 103 bus, Stop F3, to Marine Parade, arr 1315
1325 The Board Room, Folkestone Harbour Approach Road. Iron Pier brewery outlet.
Pick up a Triennial booklet en route to find the outdoor artwork
A chance to explore the Harbour Arm, lots of street food outlets. Floc tell us that their bar will be closed that day. Look out for the red arrows to Triennial artworks. Recommended: the Antony Gormley statue along the Harbour Arm. What3Words///cleanser/polo/stray

1545 Samuel Peto (Wetherspoons) 23 Rendezvous St. Beautifully converted Baptist Chapel
1630 Kipps Alehouse 11-15 Old High St. (Note that it opens at 1630)
1730 The Firkin Alehouse, 21 Cheriton Place. 10 min walk from Kipps. If you are quick you could pop into the Pullman, near Kipps.
1828 Catch 16 bus, Middelburg Square, Stop F4. Arrive Canterbury Bus Station 1915
(Alternative route: catch a train from Folkestone Central,1835 or 1900 to Canterbury West, changing at Ashford)
