Speakers Profile:
Niall Deehan, Developer Advocate, Camunda
Niall is a Developer Advocate that aims to help people understand how they can orchestrate their processes with Camunda's open source platform.
Tobias Schäfer, Managing Consultant at Novatec Consulting GmbH
Tobias has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering and is passionate about Business Process Management and technical innovation. His main area of focus includes Java, Cloud native, and Camunda. He is leading the open source projects providing an integration between the Micronaut framework and the workflow engine from Camunda.
Agenda:
Part-1: Session details:
Low Code Complexity with Camunda Using Cawemo Templates, Camunda Forms and the Camunda Modeler.
Part-2: Session details:
Camunda supports integrating its workflow engine into different architectures - for example, embedded in a microservice. Micronaut is a JVM-based microframework and therefore more lightweight than for example Spring Boot. In this talk I will show how easy it is to integrate the Camunda workflow engine into a Micronaut application or to implement an external task worker with Micronaut. For this purpose we use two open source projects that simplify the integration of Camunda into Micronaut. The integrations set sensible defaults so that you can start with minimal configuration: Just add a dependency in your Micronaut project.
