Abstract:
Is this art or a process? In automation with Camunda, we sometimes encounter wild BPMN creations. They can be executed and add something artistic to the whole area around process automation. Rarely do those process models make everyone involved in process management happy. In the talk, I will present some of the most commonly seen anti-patterns with BPMN and explain how to avoid them. Good automation starts with a good process model. However, you can also stumble over technical details during implementation. Therefore, the second part of the presentation focuses on pitfalls when implementing processes with Camunda Platform. In the end, everyone will have enough samples and templates to create their own disaster with BPMN - or to know how to prevent one.
