Hi Camundos!

We´d like to invite you to join our next virtual Camunda Vienna Meetup on Thursday, February 11th, 2021. This event will serve as a catch-up for the postponed Autumn-Meetup 2020.

As we start into the 5th year of our Meetup-group we would like to get to know you a little better. Therefore we have prepared a brief survey and kindly ask you to participate.

The results will be shown within this next Meetup.

The Meetup will focus on the topic „A single, unified tasklist in a microservices environment”, providing sufficient time for discussion and socializing throughout the session. But let´s dive into the deep and have a look at the agenda!

AGENDA

  • 6:00pm: Zoom-Session starts
  • 6:15pm: Welcome and introduction
  • 6:30pm: Warm-up game
Do you want to play a game? :) Within this short session we want to break the ice and reach our operating temperature in a playful manner.
  • 6:45pm: A single, unified tasklist in a microservices environment (Stephan Pelikan, Lead Software Developer @PHACTUM Softwareentwicklung GmbH)
With the help of a microservice architecture one can break down the complexity of a company’s workflow landscape into manageable parts. However, for the everyday business operations, employees now have to work on user tasks opened in the context of workflows of various Camunda microservices. This is a real business problem - and it raises a non-trivial technical question: How can one turn the distributed task forms and UI chunks into a good user experience of a unified, single tasklist? Stephan Pelikan will take a look at how you can achieve this and also which are the main issues that a developer must be aware of.
  • 7:30pm: Discussion
  • 7:30pm: Break
  • 7:45pm: Presentation of the survey results & networking (BYOB)
What better way to smooth the path for interesting conversations than to find out what we have in common? In this part we will have a look at the results of the survey together, providing us a good feeling for the members of our community and their experiences.
Feel free to be talkative as long as you want. We won´t leave without you! :)

We are looking forward to see you again,
Peter, Maximilian, Stephan
