Can We Talk is a group for any and all interested in understanding the biblical story and claims.
Were you raised in "the church" yet it never clicked? Can We Talk? Are you new to the bible and can't seem to make sense of it? Can We Talk? Do you recoil at certain passages and themes in the bible? Can We Talk? Are you exploring Christianity afresh - or are you recently converting from another religion and are searching for patient clarity and an opportunity to ask questions? Can We Talk? Are you someone that thought you understood scripture but are questioning that understanding? Can We Talk?
The format is simple. A topic or passage will be posted for the upcoming meeting. We'll meet over coffee/tea/meal and discuss. We'll extend grace and patience to all. We'll start as strangers and perhaps and hopefully will become friends.
