What we’re about
Hi there! This group is for (the many!) Canadians and Americans living or working in Richmond to meet for coffee (including early morning coffee/breakfast) in the area. It is both a networking and social group and all meetups will be held in Richmond in relatively quiet locations where conversation can take place. Most expat groups meet in Central London, so this group is designed to enable meetups within walking distance of home or work.
This group also aims to provide social and intellectual support for those working on specific projects (writing, entrepreneurial, etc) and who want to interact with other people who are working hard and “doing stuff”!! It can be isolating to work intensely on a project or creative endeavour, and socialising can sometimes be too “mindless”, so we want this group to become a smallish community of intelligent individuals who can bounce ideas off each other and make friendships in the process :-) <br>
