Join this exciting opportunity to witness the colour & spectacle of the Pushkar Camel Fair, one of the last great traditions in India’s Rajasthan! And this is just the icing on the cake! This trip combines the beauty of Agra’s Taj Mahal, the ‘pink’ city of Jaipur & Delhi old & new, elephants & tigers, boat & game rides, light & Bollywood shows, a traditional cooking lesson & astrologer session, mystique & charm of thousands of years old tradition!

Delhi - Jaipur - Pushkar - Jodhpur - Udaipur - Ranthambore - Agra - Delhi
Arrival in Delhi: 17th Nov - Departure 3rd Dec
- Days 1-3: DELHI Old & New: Jama Masjid, a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat in memory of Mahatma Gandhi, Lotus Temple & Qutub Minar’s tallest brick minaret in the world (UNESCO). Enjoy Son et Lumiere Show at the Red Fort (UNESCO) & an authentic dinner at the “thief's market”.
- Days 4-5: JAIPUR, the land of the Kings & Rajasthan’s capital. Let an astrologer foretell your future & catch Son et Lumiere Show at Amber Fort. Ride an elephant to the grandiose Amber Fort, check out City Palace’s courtyards & seven-storey Moon palace, marble Mubarak Mahal & the royal observatory Jantar Mantar.
- Days 6-7: Interact with these gentle pachyderms at the ELEPHANT VILLAGE before getting to PUSHKAR on a holy lake surrounded by >500 whitewashed temples & 52 pilgrim’s ghats.
- PUSHKAR FAIR: 30,000 Camels as far as the eyes can see - a fascinating & peculiar sight! They are dressed up, paraded, raced & traded with a great deal of bargaining + horse races, temple dancing, spiritual & heritage walks & bazaar. Watch pilgrims take a dip in the lake & a Deepdaan ceremony with hundreds of clay lamps set afloat on the sacred lake.
- Days 8-9: JODHPUR, the "Blue City", with buildings reflecting the endless sky. Stroll the majestic 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort with its lavish palaces & temples. Learn to cook traditional Rajasthani family recipe dishes. Visit BISHNOI village, an ancient clan of eco-friendly Hindu sect.
- Days 10-11: Famous 15th-century RANAKPUR Temple with intricate architectural style in exquisite white marble. Continue to KUMBHALGARH’s massive 1443 AD citadel 2nd only to the Great Wall of China. Palace of Cloud’s green, turquoise & white contrast with the fort’s earthy colours; panoramic views of the town & mountains.
- UDAIPUR, "Venice of the East": beautiful Lake Palace, one of the most romantic places on the globe! Ornamental garden, Jagdish temple dedicated to an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, palace in the middle of Lake Pichola. BOAT RIDE, a famous Dharohar dance show & a gourmet dinner.
- Day 12: 7th-century CHTTORGARTH Fort history of heroism & sacrifice echoed in tales of Rajasthan’s bards. Find out why? Explore KOTA, the kingdom with a turbulent past.
- Day 13: Highly regarded by R. Kipling, writer of The Jungle Book, BUNDI is renowned for its picturesque forts, steep water well reservoirs Baolis & Bundi School’s miniature paintings.
- Day 14: RANTHAMBHORE NATIONAL PARKS’ TIGER RESERVE: Follow the ranger to see & photograph tigers; striped hyenas, antelopes, monkeys, sloths & birds + a 1000-year-old formidable Ranthambhore Fort with palace, temples & ponds harmoniously merged into the sprawling forest. School of Arts & ruler’s hunting lodge.
- Day 15-16: Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the best BIRD SANCTUARIES in the world! See migratory & native water birds. Stroll the ancient village of Kachhpura for Mughal heritage & photo-worthy views of the Taj Mahal at sunset.
- And finally AGRA & its’ eternal symbol of love, the majestic TAJ MAHAL at sunrise, the massive AGRA FORT & the picture-perfect Pearl Mosque. Sumptuous traditional dinner on arrival in DELHI.
- Day 17: Delhi is where this wonderful experience comes to an end… till our next adventure!
Cost starts from C$4,978/person in a 4* double & C$6,501/person in a single. The prices are land-only for a min of 6 guests. Airfare from Toronto to Delhi is ~C$1,500-1,800 roundtrip per traveller. Triple & 5* occupancy upon request.
