Canal Walks and Food Markets

We will enjoy a leisurely walk (approximately 45 mins) along Regent's Canal, and ending at the fabulous Victoria Park Market. We can then get some food together and sit on the grass or public benches (if available) near the Bonner Gate entrance, behind the Dogs of Alcibiades statue. If it is raining or the market is closed, we can either go to the Pavillion cafe, or The Crown pub on Grove Road instead.

WE WILL WAIT ONLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES AFTER THE START TIME. After that, If you are running late, please catch us up along the canal. I will not be regularly checking my phone or meetup messages. In the park we u usually meet.

We are a welcoming group, so feel free to mix around and say hello to new people. You are responsible for yourselves on the walk, so please bring appropriate footwear etc. The canal gets quite narrow in places, so please be mindful of those around you.

This walk is on the last Sunday of the month along Regent's Canal from Limehouse to Victoria Park. There is a separate walk (also along Regent's Canal) on the third Sunday of the month, from Angel station to Victoria Park.

We will enjoy a leisurely walk (approx 45 mins - 1 hour) down Regent's Canal from Angel station and ending at the fabulous Victoria Park Market. We can then get some food together and sit on the grass or public benches (if available) near the Bonner Gate entrance, behind the Dogs of Alcibiades statue. This is at the intersection of foodstalls running north/south and east/west. If it is raining or the market is closed, we can either go to the Pavillion cafe, or The Crown pub on Grove Road instead.
