Live on Stage - Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical
OFC Creations Theatre Center, 3450 Winton Pl, Rochester, NY, USA miserly and miserable, ever-so-cantankerous Grinch has observed the despicable Christmas joy of the Whos with disdain, from a distance, for decades. Enough! In this favorite holiday story, filled with toe-tapping music and Seussian rhymes, he conceives a dastardly plot to destroy the holiday they love. It’s the smallest of the Whos, tiny Cindy Lou, who extends a hand. Through the combination of kindness and community, we witness not only a change in the course of Who-History, but the size and capacity of the cantankerous Grinch’s heart.
Based on the iconic animated film and beloved children’s book, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas!, the musical features the hit songs "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the original animated television special. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small," decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos.

Movie in Theater: Back to the Future
Dryden Theatre at the George Eastman Museum, 900 East Avenue, Rochester, NY, US##### Skateboarding high-schooler Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) finds himself transported to 1955 via a DeLorean time machine invented by his nutty professor pal, Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Stuck in the past, Marty must initiate his own existence by finding a way to introduce his hopelessly nerdy father (Crispin Glover) to his mother (Lea Thompson). Frenetically-paced and endlessly clever, this massive hit is just as much fun 40 years after its first release.

Movie in Theater: Back to the Future, Part II
Dryden Theatre at the George Eastman Museum, 900 East Avenue, Rochester, NY, US##### Co-creators Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis followed up their 1985 megahit with two sequels, shot back-to-back and released within six months of each other. In this first sequel, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) has to travel 30 years into the future to save his children from traveling the wrong path. Meanwhile, an observant Biff (Thomas Wilson) steals the DeLorean and travels back to 1955 to give his younger self a sports almanac detailing the outcome of major sporting events before returning to 2015. When Marty and Doc (Christopher Lloyd) return to 1985, the timeline has been changed because of Biff’s interference, forcing them to return to 1955 and the events of the first film to put everything right. An ingenious commentary on the nature of sequels themselves, this film increases the stakes of the first film on every level.
