If you have never experienced the waterfalls at Watkins Glen in the springtime, you are in for a spectacular treat! If you have experienced it before, you’ll be as anxious as I am to get back there!

For those who would like to carpool, we’ll meet in the parking lot of Wegmans in Canandaigua at 9:00AM. If you’re interested in carpooling, please note that in the comments section below, so people can form carpooling groups in advance.

For those who would like to go to breakfast before heading to the waterfalls, we’ll meet at Captain's Café in Geneva at 9:30AM. The restaurant is at 368 Exchange Street in Geneva. If you’re interested in going to breakfast, please note that in the comments section below, so we can plan accordingly.

And now, Watkins Glen…
Come out and play! Kids and grandkids are of course welcome! The links below will provide you with lots of useful information regarding Watkins Glen State Park and the falls. There will be some driving required, of course, but mostly just the trip there and back. There will be plenty of opportunities to get wet, so dress accordingly! We’ll meet at 11:00AM at the main entrance on Main Street in Watkins Glen, then head off on our waterfall trek. Watkins Glen is a beautiful park, with 19 waterfalls. The walking trail is terrific, so there is much to see and do beyond the waterfalls. There are multiple trails, with varying levels of difficulty, so whatever challenge you’re comfortable with, you’ll find it there. There’s even a shuttle that runs from one end to the other, so there’s no need to walk both ways, if you don’t wish to.
