The Chinese Lantern Festival, held on the 15th day of the Chinese New Year, marks the end of the Lunar New Year festivities. Lanterns are a central symbol of the festival, representing hope, prosperity, and the dispelling of darkness. People light and release lanterns into the night sky, creating a dazzling display of color and light. Let's create your own lantern in this fun workshop.
Creating your own lantern is a wonderful way to connect with this rich cultural tradition. Each lantern carries meaning, symbolising good luck and happiness for the year ahead. In our workshop, you'll learn how to craft lantern and take home your own hand made lantern while experiencing the festival’s deep cultural roots.
