Want to play Mahjong Regularly?
Mahjong is still a niche board game in London, and since it requires four players, it can be hard to organise regular games with just your own friends or family. In many parts of Asia, Mahjong parlours bring people together to play — and while we’re not trying to run a commercial Mahjong club, we are here to nurture a community.

Our Mahjong players started as learners in our workshops, and many of them are now hooked — eager to keep playing. That’s why we created our Just Play tickets. We’re not a traditional club, and there’s no membership or annual fee. If you’d love to spend a Saturday afternoon playing a few games in great company and unbeatable vibes, just book a ticket and come join us.

✔ Guaranteed Seat at the Table – Your ticket secures you a spot to play. Please note that if we don’t have multiples of four, you may be paired up with another player to form a group.

Learners & Players Community?
Please note: Just Play tickets are not for complete beginners.
To book a Just Play ticket, you must already know how to play. If you’ve taken our Level 1 Newbie Workshop, you’ll be grouped with others who play casually — wins only, no scoring (less common).

If you’ve completed our Level 2 Improver Workshop or already know how to score and win with more advanced hands, you’ll join players using our scoring cards to track game results.

We highly recommend completing both Level 1 and Level 2 workshops before joining a Just Play session — it makes the experience more enjoyable for you and for everyone at the table.

Details of the Event

• Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm
• Where: Aldgate Tower just outside of Aldgate East Station Exit 1
• Who: None newbies to Mahjong
• How much: £18 for 2 hours of just play without our instructors
• What is included: free tea and coffee, unbeatable vibes

### Important Notes

1. Each attendee must be registered to our building in addition to the meetup ticketing. If you book two tickets, we will need both individuals’ full names and email addresses for registration.
2. On the same week, you will receive an email from Aldgate Tower with your building entry invitation. This email includes a unique visitor QR code, which you’ll need to scan at the ground floor speed gates. Then, head straight up to the 6th floor, where we’ll be ready to welcome you.
