Cañas y Charlas: WHAT DOES A COLOR SOUND LIKE?

How Your Brain Constructs Reality Through Your Senses

## 🧠 What Does a Color Sound Like?

### How Your Brain Constructs Reality Through Your Senses

Have you ever wondered why certain sounds feel sharp, why smells evoke emotions, or why what we hear can change how something tastes?
We tend to think of our senses as separate systems: we see with our eyes, hear with our ears, and feel with our skin. But our brains don't experience the world that way.
Instead, they constantly combine information from different senses to create a single, coherent perception of reality. And sometimes, that process leads to surprising results.
Join neuroscientists Alice Drew, PhD and Alice Vidal, PhD for an evening exploring the fascinating world of multisensory perception.
Through surprising examples, interactive experiences, and insights from neuroscience research, we'll discover how our senses influence one another, why our perceptions sometimes contradict each other, and what this reveals about how our brains construct reality.
No scientific background needed. Just curiosity!
