About us
Social, leisurely 🚲 rides on quiet streets or separated paths, at a pace you can talk normally. Wear whatever is comfortable. Be yourself.
We're for people who use bikes to get from A to B. People of all ages, abilities, & identities who use all types of cycles. We are not lycra-clad cyclists who want to ride beside traffic doing 80km/h.
Think of us as trying to recreate the enjoyable experiences of riding in Copenhagen or Amsterdam (as on YouTube channels Bicycle Dutch and Not Just Bikes), but with cockatoos and kangaroos.

Girl Groups Belco Bike Party
Belconnen Arts Centre, 118 Emu Bank Parade, Belconnen, Canberra, AUCelebrate International Women's Day 2026 with a Lake Ginninderra bike party honouring Girl Groups of the past 70 years.
From the Chordettes' hit song Mr Sandman in 1954, to the Supremes of the 1960s, Bananarama in the 80s, Spice Girls in the 90s, through to today's K-pop giants Blackpink, Girl Groups have been there to help us get through this thing called Life.
This bike party asks you to grab people you care about, choose some songs for the playlist, and then roll beside Lake Ginninderra as we blast music from a Partybox on the back of our cargo bike.Never been on a bike party? Here's one from Lake Tuggeranong last month.
We ride at our own risk.
You must bring your own lights, and have a plan if you get a flat tyre or other mechanical fault. Oh, and bring something warm because it can get cold beside the lake. We'll be on a big blue cargo bike, with flashing lights and a flag.
We welcome all people on all cycles, scooters, and skates.5 attendees
Gelato ride: Lake B G to Dickson
The Street Theatre, Cnr Childers Street and University Avenue, Canberra City, Canberra, AUOur slow, social rides fight loneliness, and sometimes they feature food.
Celebrate the long weekend (Canberra Day is Mon 9 March) with an evening ride around a bit of Lake Burley Griffin, and then head north to Dickson to get gelato from Spilt Milk on Cape St. This ride is on separated, shared mobility paths. Note: There is a short steep section over Parkes Way.
(Why not other to gelato shops in Lonsdale and Bunda Streets? They're too dangerous to ride to. Pressure your local MLAs to fix this).
We ride at our own risk.

Canberra Day ride from north Gungahlin to south Tuggeranong
Bonner Shops, Mabo Blvd, Canberra, AUCan we get 80 people - 10% of our group's membership - on one ride to celebrate Canberra Day? Only one way to find out!
We're rolling from Bonner shops in the north of the ACT (Coffee Guru, 7/61 Mabo Blvd) to Banks shops in the far south of Tuggeranong. It should be about 50km one way. Some people might want to turn around and ride back. We'll put our bike on the bus to return home to the northside. This ride uses mostly separated shared bike paths of various width and quality. The route passes the most built-up areas of the ACT.
We ride at our own risk.
Join us for the whole ride, or do however much you'd like, eg a 10km section. As ever, this is a slow social ride with an emphasis on chatting and making friends. We'll stop several times along the way, especially at bakeries in Curtin and Mawson.
We welcome all types of people on all types of cycles and scooters.
You don't need special clothing or cycle, you just need a helmet, brakes, pump, and tube repair kit in case you get a puncture.
