Tonight we are going to meet online from 7:55 PM to 10:00 PM to read aloud together, taking turns:

  • William Shakespeare (1564–1616): Othello (1603)

This is the second meeting of three where we will be reading the whole tragedy:

7 July ――>> 1° Third
14 July ――>> 2° Third
21 July ――>> 3° Third

During this reading, at the end of each scene, we will briefly summarise and explain what we have read.

The assistance of Co-organisers would be greatly appreciated and would make a great difference. Those who wish to volunteer may contact the Event Hosts.

***

Instructions for the online meeting will be communicated on Thursday/Friday to members who RSVP (platform, access information, etc.).

At 7:55 PM we will start with a microphone and video test.

***

The meeting is open to anyone who is interested in the great classics of Literature.

Participants are invited to have a copy of the texts with them (either the book, or as printed paper, or as digital copy on an electronic device).

A copy of the text will be shared during the reading.

***

Joining our group and attending our meetings are free and cost-less: “free” means that there are no fees; “cost-less” means there are no hidden costs.
