Community Relaunch - What's Happening with Fabric in Canberra?

We’re restarting the Canberra Microsoft Analytics and Power BI User Group, repositioned more broadly as the Canberra Microsoft Analytics & Data Community and focusing on in-person connection.
The aim is to create a regular local community for people working with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data, AI, SQL, governance and modern analytics platforms across Canberra. This won’t be a traditional presentation-heavy user group; the goal is to bring together people who are solving similar problems, share real-world experiences, and connect with each other.
For the first meeting, we’re keeping it deliberately lightweight:

There’ll be a short 10–15 minute conversation starter, then informal discussion and drinks.
The first discussion will be very practical:
- Where are organisations actually up to with Fabric?
- Who is experimenting, piloting or already in production?
- What is still unclear or blocked?
- What would people most like to learn from others in Canberra?
- Feedback on the group - date, time, location, style, topics?
