Mapping, Spatial Analysis and Spatial Interpolation Using R.

The abilities now available from R are very extensive. They are implemented, in part, via interfaces to software packages that must be installed independently of R. There are abilities for downloading static maps from the Google server, and for overlaying on such maps. These will be demonstrated.

We will also discuss any new ideas people might have. For instance there is the possibility of arranging "virtual" meetings with screen-sharing and phone-conferencing software.
