Hello All,
I am keen to discuss the two major battles fought by Australian soldiers in WWI.
Gallipoli Campaign (The August Offensive AT ANZAC, 1915) and The Battle of Fromelles 1916.
A lot of people know about Gallipoli Campaign but not many know about, The Battle of Fromelles. It was a diversionary attack on July 19-20, 1916, and was the first major engagement for Australian troops on the Western Front, resulting in over 5,500 casualties in a single night, making it the bloodiest 24 hours in Australian military history.
Will look forward to you all joining me in the discussion on Sat, 5th April 2pm.
Thank You!!
Shivangi
