What we’re about

We're not the fittest, nor the fastest, but we're just a friendly group of people who like to run, we are fairly casual, don't have a coach; we just like to get out and enjoy being in the outdoors and taking in the beautiful countryside Canberra has to offer while getting fit in the process.

We also like to inspire and support each other, and others to be their best, so if you're into running for fitness / healthier lifestyle, want to reach your running goals or just want a challenge, this group could be for you.  We mainly do middle distance running, 10km or more, but if you do 5km or new to running you're still welcome to come along, we would rather you out running than sitting on a couch thinking about going for one.

We run in all weather and do early morning 10km+ training runs, twice a week, East Basin (10.6km) on Tuesday morning, and West Basin (11.5km) on Thursday morning, but if needed the pace / course can be changed to incorporate shorter distances for newer / less experienced runners.  We also do hill runs on a Sunday morning for strength training, and times shift week to week, based on work / uni / life commitments.

If that sounds all a bit too serious. when commitments allow, we also do park runs on a Saturday morning, and a coffee after.

We are also into fun runs, including the City2Surf, Canberra Times Fun run, and the Australian Running Festival, just to name a few.
