Canberra Centenary Trail - Section 11 - Lake Tuggeranong - Fadden Pines (return)

Details
This is a relatively easy 13km out and back walk, but you can make it even easier by choosing to just walk one way...
I expect the total walk will take about 2.5hrs - but you walk at a pace that is comfortable for you.
A map of the route is available for download at http://www.endomondo.com/routes/156676428
Meet at the car park opposite the Tuggeranong Library (Cowlishaw St) for an 8am start. The walk is slightly uphill on the way to Fadden Pines, but it is very gradual. There is a toilet block at Fadden Pines, but I suggest you BYO water (and a hat etc).
If you only want to walk one way, you can join the walk at Fadden Pines - there is a car park off Bugden Ave. Be there at 9.15am to make sure you don't miss us.
Cost is a $2 donation to the Heart Foundation. At the end of the walk we'll go to Macca's for coffee etc.
For those only walking half way, you will be able to get a lift back to Fadden Pines after the coffee stop.
For info: The Centenary Trail is approximately 150km long, broken into 14 walking sections (although I have split 2 of the sections to make 16 walks) - the latest map is available on the TAM website http://www.tams.act.gov.au/parks-recreation/recreational_activities/canberra_centenary_trail/maps - AussieWalk and a number of other walking groups in the ACT will be progressively walking the trail over the next couple of years. I have 6 legs in my 2013 calendar - this is the 2nd leg for the year.
