Mount Lorette Ponds

We held a paint out at this location in Kananaskis last year and those who attended really enjoyed it. It is a very accessible spot (located between Barrier Lake and Kananaskis village along Highway 40) with a short, flat walk to several excellent places to set up your easel. There are washroom facilities at the site as well. It can be busy, particularly on the weekend, but meeting at an earlier time of day should mitigate this.

As usual, please bring all of your own art supplies and lots of layers (and maybe an umbrella - who knows what the weather will be like these days!).
