#### Christopher Lee here and I wanted to write to you directly in advance of my album release: My first in 15 years!

#### I'm so proud to bring this new music and new alias into the world, to be shared and enjoyed by others. It's been a long road and these songs helped me to rise up out of existential despair, heal deep wounds and reconnect with purpose. The album is heartfelt, settling and hypnotic to aid deepening into the experience. Built for inner journeys or meditative exploration.

Album Description:
After a 15-year hiatus, electronic artist Christopher Lee—formerly known under the moniker Limaçon (PokerFlat, Force Inc, Thoughtless)—returns with Held in the Unfolding, the debut album from his new project, Conrosa. Born out of a period of chronic illness and personal reckoning, Held in the Unfolding is both a sonic and emotional recovery—a meditative journey grounded in acceptance, grief, connection, and healing. This is ambient music with purpose: a collection of textured soundscapes designed to guide listeners into deeper states of embodiment, reflection, and release.

“This album arose out of what I needed in a chronically depleted state. At some points, all I could do was make music. These songs helped me cultivate hope, meaning and solace through the most difficult time in my life.”

The opening track, “Rhodes of Ananda,” sets the tone with a gentle spiritual invitation, evoking a sense of wonder and calm through distant bird calls and tidal washes of sound. “Around the Corner” unfolds with hypnotic handpan rhythms and a broken beat, offering a sense of momentum and emergence. Throughout the album, Lee crafts space with intention—layered textures and looping motifs create immersive environments that invite both engagement and surrender.

Tracks like “Homecoming” and “Lightness of Being” deliver poignant melodic moments, reminding us of the power of softness in a hardened world. “Perseverance” and “Connection” dive into complex emotional territory, exploring existential anxiety through intricate rhythmic layering. The title track merges slow, droning pulses with delicate handpan motifs, culminating in a melancholic yet hopeful reprise. On “Simply,” the listener floats through an expansive sonic cosmos—a moment of possibility finalized by clarity and release.

Held in the Unfolding is a restorative listening experience, an invitation to let go, be present, and rediscover meaning within and without. In a time that often demands noise and speed, Conrosa offers stillness, intention, and a path inward.

Bio:
Conrosa is the ambient project of Christopher Lee, formerly known as Limaçon—an internationally recognized dancefloor DJ and producer who emerged from Northern California’s electronic scene in 1997. With Conrosa, Lee turns his focus inward, exploring the lighter, more spacious dimensions of sound. The name—meaning “with rose” or “with pink”—reflects the project’s core themes: vulnerability, compassion, and the tender strength required for deep self-inquiry.
Informed by fatherhood, neurodivergence, and the transformative journey through chronic illness, Conrosa represents a personal and creative realignment—away from speed and spectacle, and toward slowness, connection, and healing. The music integrates organic percussion, intricate synthesis, and unique instrumentation to craft hypnotic, somatic soundscapes—music that moves through the body as much as the mind.

Beyond the studio, Lee is also a trained psychedelic guide and co-founder of a psychedelic therapy clinic alongside his wife. Since receiving his credentials in 2021, he has worked at the intersection of music and legal plant medicine, helping others navigate inner landscapes and cultivate deeper relationships with themselves.
Conrosa is not just a project—it’s a practice. A gentle unfolding. A reminder to listen inward.

Please note, this is not a guided ceremony like our other offerings- this is a community building and appreciation gathering to get a chance to celebrate with you! We can fit up to 15 people in person & as many online attendees who wish to join.
