Note: This trip is limited to 20 paddlers

NO inflatables, folding boats, SUP’s, or boats less than 12 ft.

We will paddle from Moss Landing Marina to Kirby Park and back, about 11 miles round trip. On the Water (OTW) by 10:30 to catch the tides. Elkhorn Slough offers amazing wildlife viewing bring binoculars. Due to the distance and maybe afternoon winds paddlers should consider their stamina.

Parking fee is $16 bring small bills as you cannot get change where you pay to park. Bring snacks, water and a lunch. We will take a short break at Kirby Park, to catch the out-going tide back to Moss Landing.

Launch ramp, dock and toilets at Moss Landing and Kirby Park. (Note the toilets at Kirby Park may be closed). At Moss Landing we will meetup and launch from the beach near MBK.

We will be paddling into the wind as we return to Moss Landing. Paddle 2 1/2 hours each way - there is no place to get out while on this route.

PLEASE READ THIS: The organizers of this trip are not experts, not professional paddlers and do not necessarily have safety training or carry any safety equipment. Each paddler must have the training, experience and equipment required to complete this paddle safely, and must assume all personal risks. A Coast Guard approved life jacket or Personal Flotation Device (PFD) must be worn by everyone while on the water.
