Special Taster Jive Class

If you are interested in swing dance and don’t know where to start this event is perfect.

We run three drop-in 1940’s/50’s style jive classes each week in Canterbury, Ashford and Sandwich and tonight will be having a very special complete beginner’s evening at the Canterbury Baptist Church Hall to give you a taste. No dance experience needed at all, or dance partner as we rotate our class members around.

This evening event will probably be very busy so to book please email revboogie@hotmail.co.uk or message via Meetup and say how many places you’d like.

if you’ve not attended dance classes before we suggest wearing loose comfortable everyday clothes, and shoes that don’t grip the floor too much. Although we aren’t likely to work up much of a sweat it’s a good idea to bring water to stay hydrated, antiperspirant and a small towel.

The evening fee is just £1 cash on the door to cover hall hire, and as the venue has a community hub with cheap meals and provides food parcels on Thursdays and Fridays a donation of 3 or more cans of food, drink cartons, essential toiletries etc will be really appreciated.
