Samphire Hoe short walk and a picnic.

Details
Samphire Hoe, is the nature reserve of Eurotunnel is located between Folkestone and Dover. We will enjoy a short wheelchair accessible walk (of around a mile and a half) featuring stunning views over the English Channel. It will also offer the chance to discover fascinating wildlife, rare plants, see spectacular landscapes of the White Cliffs.
After we will enjoy a "bring your own picnic lunch". This can be supplemented by hot and cold drinks, ice cream etc from the kiosk. Some seating is available but best to bring your own camping style / fold up chair and or blanket.
I am dog sitting that weekend and will be bringing my friends dog with me. Other hounds would be welcome but please note due to the nature of the area they must always remain on a lead. Please also note the car parking charge of £2, however this is for the entire day. I will leave participants to sort out car sharing arrangements between themselves.
Best route from Canterbury is via Dover but returning home via Folkestone. I look forward to seeing those who can make it!
