St Margarets Bay to Oldstairs Bay, Walmer Circular 21st Jan.

This lovely walk led by Ramblers leader, Tony is just over 7 miles and will take us inland to Kingsdown returning via the clifttop path via The South Foreland Lighthouse (closed) to St Margarets.
Mostly sheltered tarmac/gravel paths on the outward leg and normally firm ground/ gravel on return. It can be a bit exposed on the cliff top path so dress accordingly.
Some steep steps up out of Kingsdown to the golf club on return followed by some modest ascents/descents on the cliff tops.
Total elevation gain is around 600 ft.
Options for refreshments are Pines Café at 5 miles and The Smugglers pub on return for those wanting lunch.
