Meet to Speak Cantonese

The London Cantonese Language-Speaking Meetup Group aims to promote the usage of Cantonese by speaking it!

With so many people who are learning Mandarin Chinese now, it is easy to forget that there are other Chinese languages out there, and ones that have been around for a lot longer.

Members who are fluent or are native speakers will have no qualms in speaking Cantonese, naturally. And those who are learning are encouraged to participate in practising speaking Cantonese, even though it is just a few words at first. Listening is also part of learning so hearing what other people are saying will be productive too.

Learners will know that there are many tones in the language so saying it out loud will be the best practice and be told how you doing is part of the learning process. What this meetup aims to do is to have native/fluent speakers help out the learners or improvers.
