Finding it tiresome to think and speak English all the time and want to find others who speak Cantonese? Welcome to the Canto-group where we cherish the uniquely vibrant and vividly descriptive dialect.
We host activities like yum cha, dinners, karaoke sessions and day trips. Events are catered for adults only. Married members, please register separately and are welcome to join our activities together or separately. Families are generally not catered for, but if you would still like to join, please register separately and be aware that venues and events may not cater for children or babies and to not detract from enjoyment of the event by other members.
This group is not for purposes of Dating or a Dating Website. If you RSVP "YES" to an event, and not show up, you will be marked as "NO SHOW". If you RSVP "YES" but are unable to attend the event, please have the courtesy to chance your RSVP reply to "NO" within one day of the event, otherwise you will be marked as 'NO SHOW'. Members who have 2 'NO SHOW" will be removed.
When registering, please use your real name rather than letters, initials or nicknames and that a recent photo of yourself is also included. If not, you may be asked to provide such a photo so we can easily recognise you when joining your first event with our group.
