Cantonese Meet and Talk is a monthly conversation club facilitated by Cantonese in Auckland. This is a welcoming space for anyone who speaks, is learning, or is rediscovering Cantonese.

Cantonese is spoken far beyond Hong Kong. Our community brings together speakers from across the world, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, China, and beyond, as well as locally born speakers and second and third generation New Zealanders reconnecting with their heritage language. Whether you're a native speaker, a member of the diaspora, or still finding your footing with the language, you belong here.
For many in Auckland, opportunities to speak Cantonese in a natural, immersive environment are rare and this group exists to change that.
