Welcome to the first ever Cantonese speaking group in Philadelphia! This is an informal meetup group for Cantonese-speaking expats/immigrants and Cantonese language enthusiasts who are eager to improve their language skills while enjoying delicious food.
Join us for a fun-filled evening of language exchange and eating dimsum at Ocean City! The group encourages every member to have a go at communicating in Cantonese although you are not obliged to do so, you may speak in English if you much prefer. However, we think this would be a good opportunity for you to practice your Cantonese with fellow members.
## Summary of the day's event:
- 12-12:30pm: meet at Chinatown gate on Arch Street, by 12:30pm, we will walk to Ocean City restaurant.
- 12:30pm-2:00pm: dimsum and tea for brunch!
- 2:00pm-3:00pm: hang out at a local bubble tea location for more conversations!
Please RSVP, so that I can get a headcount for the restaurant! If you are only coming for the hang out at a bubble tea spot, you do not have to RSVP.
