North Table Mtn, practice canyon skills and socialiaze

As announced at the Ouray Canyon Festival. Meet at North Table Mountain Park West Trailhead. We will hike (15 min) up the old road to the quarry pit and rig some ropes around the edges of the pit. We will teach and practice basic to intermediate canyoneering skills. Bring your own gear if you have it, particularly a helmet, but some extra equipment will be available. If you arrive late, hike up the road to the large, main quarry and then up the right side to the small quarry pit not visible from below. After the practice, participants may head to a nearby brewpub that has a food truck.
