Welcome ladies who want to learn canyoneering/canyoning core skills!!. We provide online and in-person education. We are a not for profit women's organization dedicated to promoting women in the sport of canyoneering through clinics, camps, scholarships, community, and Ladies Only Canyoneering
Festivals. Canyoneering Chicks facilitates the opportunity for women to learn from other women how to become skilled, competent, and self-reliant Canyoneers. Canyoneering Chicks achieves its aims through:

Beginner & Intermediate ChickFest
Location not specified yetDescription:
No experience is required for beginners. We will focus on teaching essential canyoning knots, releasable rigging, and self-rescue skills in the canyons. We will choose a full day canyon for Saturday and a shorter canyon for Sunday from a selection of beginner-level canyons in the North Wash area (Blarney, Shillelagh, Hogwarts, Morocco) based on participant skill level and current water levels. North Wash is a really special no bolt area on BLM land (BLM permit required). We always follow leave no trace principles in our canyoning and camping.Release Form (REQUIRED):

We will hold a virtual prep meeting about 14 days prior to the event to discuss logistics and answer questions. We would like all participants to attend the prep meeting.
