Skills to be taught:
Canyon Rescue Techniques
Learn to construct & analyze rescue systems
Rescue Technique: Convert to Lower:
Toss n’ Go, Carabiner Block, and Toggle Devices.
Rescue Technique: Pick Off
Learn how to perform a Pick-Off technique from the top and Perform the Pick-Off technique from the bottom
Construct Haul System:
Construct, demonstrate and explain application of haul systems for emergency hauling subject back to the top of the rappel.
Mechanical Advantage Systems:
Learn to construct and explain the concept of mechanical advantage systems & its impact on anchor forces. Know and calculate mechanical advantage ratios for various rigging configurations.

Emergency Response Protocol :
Learn how to analyze & utilize rescue emergency protocol for canyoning incidents.

Refund Policy: We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we offer a 50% refund after 48 hours of being enrolled in the online courses. For in-person training and in-person clinics, we offer a refund up to 14 days before the training event. To initiate a return, go to your order in Eventbrite and request a refund. If you do not get a refund within 5 working days, please contact info@canyoininginstitute.org with your order details. They will unenroll you from the course you purchased.
