What we’re about
There are many canyoneering opportunities throughout the Southwest! From San Diego, through the San Gabriels and San Bernardinos, the Los Padres, the Sierra and as far north as Death Valley in California (and beyond); not to mention those near Las Vegas, those scattered through Arizona and those bursting from the seams of the topographic maps of Utah. The purpose of this Meetup Group is to connect people in the Southwest for this adventure activity/sport/passion and to provide certified instruction, experiential education, canyoneering opportunities and an introduction to the Canyoneering Community in a safe and fun way. Anybody with the desire to learn canyoneering and anybody who already canyoneers ... this is your group. Tho located in California, the area this Meetup Group covers includes Nevada, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. (Note: By basing it in Southern California, trips of greater distance are made more plausible by cost-sharing travel expenses!)
