After Work: Clear Creek Canyon

Hello fellow Canyoneers!

Bring your gear and lets have some fun after work!

These sessions are designed for those who have taken at least ACE Level 1 and have a basic knowledge of canyoneering and would like to practice building basic anchors and rappelling.

Lets meet in the parking area by 5:30 PM and hike up to the first rappel.

If you arrive a few minutes late, just follow the footpath and meet us at the top.

Things to Note:

We will be outside: dress appropriately for anticipated weather - closed toe shoes, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, windbreaker/jacket, and whatever else you may need to stay comfortable for the day.

Bring snacks, water, etc.

This event will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.

This event is not being hosted by employees of Uber Adventures, it is an event hosted by and for students / graduates of canyon courses. The organizer and event organizer reserve the right to accept or deny any individual for this event. YOU are responsible for your own safety at all times. This is not a guided event and is for trained canyoneers only.

Since this is not a guided trip and because canyoneering is a team sport where every member should be able to rappel well, inspect anchors, build new anchors, rig for all contingencies, manage ropes efficiently and contribute in every aspect of the adventure, anyone who's profile does not reflect the appropriate training or sufficient experience will not be allowed to participate. PLEASE KEEP YOUR PROFILE ACCURATE & UP-TO-DATE! If at the trailhead for this event you do not have the beta and map for the canyon, a harness, helmet, rappel device, safety tether, foot loop for self rescue, sufficient protection from the heat or cold, and sufficient water for the intended exertion, you will be turned-away from the event for not being prepared. If you are unable or unwilling to contribute group gear (ie: bagged rope, webbing, rapides or first aid kit), or you are unable or unwilling to help carry group gear, you may be turned-away from the event.
