Please join us for evening of art, conversation, and light refreshments as we engage with this unique collaboration inspired by the changing coastal landscape of our Cape Cod community.
Enjoy the work of CCACโs Fine Art Juried Artists as they explore a range of mediums to share their perspectives on our evolving coastal community. Also featured is Artist in Residence, Rebecca McGee Tuckโ a fiber eco-artist, sculptor, and ocean activist whose work transforms marine debris and discarded materials collected along the wrack line, the shifting boundary between land and sea.
This exhibition is inspired by the work of WHOI researchers Caroline Ummenhofer, Svenja Ryan, and Glen Gawarkiewicz, who have partnered with the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermenโs Alliance and the Commercial Fisheries Research Foundation to collect crucial data in under-sampled areas of outer Cape Cod and the continental shelf.
Through this collaboration, artists have created meaningful visual responses to the rapid environmental changes impacting the landscapes of the Northeast and our coastal home of Cape Cod.
We hope to see you there! ๐ฆ๐
