If you’re new to the group or never attended an event, this is a good event to try. This will be a very casual short paddle. We will spend more time enjoying the surroundings rather than covering distance.

Easy paddle around the marshes of Masonboro Island area. Length and direction we go will depend on wind and tide.

Please consider extra time to get your gear ready.
You need to bring your own kayak with paddle and wear a PFD equipped with a whistle. Needless to say: you must be a swimmer. You should consider bringing self rescue equipment like a paddle float, stirrup and bilge pump.
