Welcome to Friday Night Games at the Cape Town Science Centre! 🎲
We’re a friendly and open group of board game lovers who meet most Friday evenings to play everything from party games and family classics to modern strategy games and hidden gems.
🧠New to board games? No problem—our events are beginner-friendly, and you can always join a table and learn as you play.
🎉 What to expect:
- A wide variety of games—anything from Codenames to Scythe
- Friendly players, from newcomers to hobby veterans
- A casual, social vibe where everyone’s welcome

Cape Town Science Centre, 370B Main Road, Observatory
đźš— Parking & Entrance Info:
- Ample parking in the parking lot
- Enter through the right-hand gate (the left one is usually locked)
- The main entrance door may look closed, but it's usually open—try it!
- We're one floor up, in the games room on the left
đź•– Timing:
Most people arrive around 18:30, and while some RSVP here, many regulars do not use Meetup—so expect a solid crowd even if the RSVP numbers are low.
